Quality is the most important aspect of the company. Both QA & QC departments take proactive steps to make sure that there are no defects before, during and post the process of manufacturing.
Quality Assurance (QA): This step involves the process of designing and includes the drafting and implementation of SOPs(standard operating procedures). It is to ensure that the procedures are in-line with the prescribed guidelines and the end result is safe and effective. It a process oriented step and the team is vigilant throughout, from the time of validation of the product till the final output.
Quality Control (QC): This is the process of inspection which is carried out at all the levels ie starting from the stage of procurement till the final products is packed for the market. It involves conducting tests as per the applicable Pharmacopoeias and check whether the goods in process/final good passes the prescribed parameters.
